A2L Refrigerant Training


OVERVIEW
A2L mildly-flammable refrigerants will be phased into the HVACR industry to replace Hydroflourocarbon (HFC) refrigerants in the residential marketplace. While mildly-flammable refrigerants are seemingly better for the environment, the handling and safety precautions that go along with their use are different than HFC or CFC refrigerants.
  
This A2L Refrigerant Training is designed to help HVAC professionals prevent ignition while working with A2L refrigerants and educate staff on the best safety practices to keep staff and clients safe. Each student enrolled will receive the full course as well as a workbook and a certificate upon course completion.

By listening to each section of the online course and working through the accompanying workbook, you will be prepared to implement A2L refrigerants in the field safely and effectively!

Matt Akins, ACCA Manager of HVACR Education, has sixteen years plus of HVACR experience, including five years as a technical trainer, teaching HVAC curriculum to hundreds of students across the country. He has managed all aspects of the training process, consisting of, designing classes for duct design, refrigeration, and HVAC system diagnostics as well as editing existing classes and making them current with current code and laws.
