ACCA Seeks 2018 Service Manager of the Year Nominations

July 24, 2018

The Air Conditioning Contractors of America (ACCA) is seeking nominations for the Service Manager of the Year Award Program. Each year, ACCA presents the Service Manager of the Year award to one outstanding individual and recognizes them at ACCA’s Service Leadership Forum. This year, ACCA will present the award at the 2018 Service Leadership Forum taking place November 8 & 9 in Fort Worth, Texas.

Service managers who work for an ACCA member company in good standing are eligible and must be nominated by their company's owner, president, or general manager. The ideal candidate promotes teamwork amongst all departments, emphasizes the importance of continuous training and learning, develops programs to motivate employees, and focuses on providing superior customer service.

“Service managers are vital to the success of contracting businesses and ACCA is proud to recognize one of these outstanding individuals each year,” said Paul T. Stalknecht, ACCA President and CEO. “Each year, ACCA receives many terrific nominations for individuals who are committed to the quality contracting practices that ACCA members are known for. Once again, ACCA is excited to review the applications of these industry leaders and recognize a deserving individual.”

The deadline to submit nominations is September 7, 2018. The 2018 award winner will be presented with ACCA’s American flag that was flown over the United States Capitol Building on National HVAC Technician Day. The flag was flown by Congressman Markwayne Mullin (OK-2), former President of Mullin Plumbing, Heating and Air.

Contracting company owners, presidents, and general managers can nominate their service manager for the award at www.acca.org/members/awards/smotyaward.
