February 20, 2019

The Air Conditioning Contractors of America (ACCA) announces that Vince and Laura DiFilippo of DiFilippo’s Service Company in Paoli, PA, have been awarded the Federated Insurance ACCA Super S.T.A.R. Award.

ACCA Corporate Partner Federated Insurance presents the ACCA Super S.T.A.R. Award annually to an ACCA member who prioritizes the four components of the award: Safety, Teamwork, Accountability, and Responsibility. To be eligible for the award, a contracting company must be both an ACCA member in good standing and a current Federated Insurance client.

“The entire team at DiFilippo’s Service Company has done an outstanding job of prioritizing safety in their company,” said Nate Oland, Senior National Account Executive, Federated Insurance. “Not only have they demonstrated safety, teamwork, accountability, and responsibility in their daily operations, the DiFilippo’s have gone above and beyond by attending Federated’s Risk Management Academy, setting them apart from thousands of other Federated clients and ACCA members. It’s our pleasure to recognize them for their commitment to safety for their employees and customers.”

Barton James, ACCA president and CEO, said, “We’re very proud of the DiFilippo’s and their team of professionals who continually demonstrate their commitment to professionalism and contractor excellence. ACCA is grateful to partner with Federated Insurance, ACCA’s Platinum Safety Sponsor, to recognize an outstanding ACCA member who prioritizes safety and responsibility.”

DiFilippo’s Service Company will be presented the award by Nate Oland during the ACCA Annual Conference and Expo, March 4-6 in San Antonio, TX.

“As contractors we all want to make safety a priority, but saying it and doing it are two different things. We are lucky to have Federated Insurance as our partner and their help with training, materials, education, and support. It has been instrumental in us having a strong safety program,” said Laura DiFilippo, vice president and co-owner of DiFilippo’s Service Company.
